I am excited for a new year and I am looking forward to the media center being a central hub of the high school. Gone are the days where the library is a quiet place. The MHS Media Center is a place where all students are welcome to gather in order to collaborate, communicate, and foster learning. I imagine it buzzing with students working hard on classroom projects, seeking help in locating information, and of course reading!I am excited to launch several programs and initiatives for the 2018-2019 school year to motivate student reading and to develop a life long reading habit.
